Our Database Engineering services design your entire database solution beginning with the environment, whether on premises or in the cloud. We determine the best supported platform available from our supported list and design each detail of the database schema, including tables, indexes, and fields. Our team is committed to designing the best solution to achieve your business goals. The service includes full and active participation in the project intake and service delivery process.
Database Engineering
Ensures databases are designed for high performance, scalability, and availability
Defines database architecture standards and guidelines for the organization in a hybrid cloud environment
Advises customer engagement teams on cloud database architecture options and coordinates solutions approval with application and database teams
Designs and develops database solutions to meet organizational needs and requirements using Agile and DevSecOps process and flow
Designs and implements database audit processes to ensure security and integrity of data and conducts logical data modeling and governance
Analyzes data access and modification requirements to ensure efficient SQL and optimal database design
Ensures databases comply with data privacy, security, and compliance standards as well as database license agreements, vendor managed systems on OIT infrastructure, and CISO policies, including database monitoring and access logging
Completes powershell scripting (automating manual processes through whatever means)

We support all of our documented features for the database environments listed above. We do not support outside of these environments.
Customer responsibilities include providing details for any changes and for participating in the testing of any implementation.
Service Notes
Service is based on an hourly rate for each database task requested. Support of INFORMIX will be known as a legacy service and is planned to retire in the future.

Priority 1 High and/or Service Outage: Goal is to resolve within four hours
Priority 2 Medium: Goal is to resolve within 24 hours, but no more than three business days
Priority 3 Low: Goal is to resolve within five business days, but no more than 10 business days
