Google Workspace
Overview
Google Workspace is the primary productivity and collaboration platform for OIT-supported state agencies. Applications available to all state staff include Gmail, Calendar, Drive, Meet and Chat. The applications are very similar to Google's consumer applications allowing for an easy transition into the state enterprise environment.
How to Request Service
New accounts and access changes are requested through Identity Manager. Agencies are provided a monthly report that includes accounts and license costs. Agencies are billed through Common Policy.

While a user ID (Google login) does provide access to many other Google services, it does not include troubleshooting support or protection of sensitive data in apps that are not part of the core applications listed in the service description. This includes but not limited to, Google Analytics, YouTube, Maps, etc.

Google was first introduced at the state in 2012. Since then the product has gone through many name changes from Google Apps for Government to Google Unlimited to G Suite and now Google Workspace. Through our long standing partnership with Google we have been able to affect many changes within the applications.
