Business Analysts work with you to understand your needs and challenges, then as solutions are chosen, drafts business requirements and other documentation that guides developers in delivering the expected results. Put simply, they're here to establish or improve your processes, products, software and services through investigation, analysis and collaboration.

Business Analyst (BA) services are commonly used in partnership with Solution Engineering and UX Design during idea and project work.

BA services also work with user acceptance testing to ensure the solution meets customer expectations.

To engage BA services, reach out to the designated IT Director. Or, if OIT and your agency have an agreed process for intake of new ideas and projects, follow that process. 

Agencies are expected to supply the necessary information and resources for participation in the project in a manner that allows the product to stay on timeline and within budget.
