We utilize Tableau Server, an enterprise data visualization platform that supports complex computations, data blending and dashboard tools to create publishable visualizations, providing new insights into your data. In addition to the above customer benefits, Tableau’s intuitive, user-friendly interface is easy to learn with no coding skills or additional knowledge required. With Tableau, you can customize data visualizations for different stakeholders based on defined roles and access privileges, and create interactive visualizations in minutes with drag-and-drop functionalities.

The customer is responsible for assuring that only reviewed and approved data visualizations are published or made accessible to intended or authorized viewers.
Customers must supply the necessary information and resources for project participation in a manner that allows the project to stay on deadline and within budget.
We are working diligently to mitigate any adverse issues due to Tableau version mismatches in the event that content should be migrated and/or published on both the public and private servers. As well, we are working closely with the OIT service desk and deskside support teams to assist with all desktop client upgrades.

This is the cost charged for the labor component of the service (site set up, end user administration, dashboard implementation, data connectors management, end user training and support)
Site hosting cost is a separate service cost component. Site hosting fees are charged at the beginning of the fiscal year.
Where data visualization assets are hosted primarily depends on the nature of the content (sensitive or not) and the nature of the audience (authenticated or not).
License costs: The customer must procure, or transfer existing, creator licenses; however, explorer and viewer licenses would be unlimited and come at no additional charge.
Server infrastructure costs: The server and infrastructure cost is split evenly across all distinct projects and/or sites hosted on the core-based server.
Customers are advised to budget approximately $17K annually for that service. This annual cost will be billed monthly, at a rate of $1,417.00 per month.
License costs: The customer must procure, or transfer existing, licenses for creators, explorers and viewers as well as for budgetary purposes. See Tableau’s Pricing for Teams. For initial account setup, please submit a Service Desk ticket.
Server infrastructure costs: The server and infrastructure cost is split evenly across all distinct projects and/or sites hosted on the private server.
Customers are advised to budget appropriately $5.3K annually for that service. This annual cost will be billed monthly, at a rate of $442.00 per month.
