Customer Responsibilities
Customers must supply the necessary information and resources for project participation in a manner that allows the project to stay on deadline and within budget.
Long-term storage and data retention management beyond 31 days is not a part of the standard SFTP service. We can, however, facilitate this need by engaging other subject matter experts and service providers.
Service Notes
TS-DAT-001: Enterprise Data Access and Integration Services
State strategy for data sharing & integrations = API-led connectivity
Integrated Development Environment for full API lifecycle management = MuleSoft
Primary architectural pattern = REST
API definition language = RAML
APIs managed by and integrated into OIT's Anypoint Management Platform
Access to APIs through enterprise IAM processes
APIs published to Colorado Mulesoft exchange to make API resources discoverable and reusable. Contributors must review existing API assets in exchange before developing new APIs. API design will be reviewed by OIT's integrations staff before development begins, and API development will follow OIT's development practices including documentation, testing and scanning.
MOVEit utilizes FIPS 140-2 encryption algorithm; currently working on a pilot to stand up MuleSoft Anypoint instance in FedRAMP certified, FIPS 140-2 enabled environment to support CJIS data exchange via APIs.

Service Costs
Search the Real-time Billing rate sheet for the latest rates for financial code 2272
View detail on current utilization here: OIT Common Policy Real-time Billing website
Below are two primary rate drivers for this service.
Licensing
Licensing for MuleSoft is based on the number of virtual cores (vCores), a unit of compute power allocated to a service consumer. OIT has an enterprise level agreement with MuleSoft where OIT must maintain a certain level of annual spend, or subscriptions, in order to attain the level of services and amount of vCores allocated to customers. In 2020, budgetary cost per vCore was $13K; these rates will be revised in Spring 2021.
Licensing for MOVEit Transfer, MOVEit Automation and Automic Workload Automation is incorporated into MuleSoft licensing as virtually all agencies are consuming those services. While individual tracking and charging is possible, it is not cost effective.
Personnel*
Project implementation and ongoing support resourcing model is premised on implementation services performed through any of the four options below (not mutually exclusive). In other words, anyone can contribute following our mature and published standards, leveraging an automated continuous integration / continuous deployment model:
Integrations team: Resources allocated to projects through Clarity CA PPM or change order requests through OIT Service Desk
Line of Business staff: QA/Testing, Business Analysis, Solution Engineering, UX Design
Business personnel: We have had great reception from the business on that through the use of Mule's low code / no code component - Flow Designer
Contracted services: Either as an entire implementation team or staff augmentation
*If internal personnel are used for the work, costs would be billed under financial code 2272H at $104.44 per hour.
